Having already announced that the space will consist of two recording studios, two live music areas, a full size photo and video studio and 15 soundproofed rehearsal rooms, Wick Studios have now unveiled the equipment that will make it all happen.
Midas Venice-F 16/24/32 consoles have been installed in every rehearsal room, enabling musicians to multi-track record directly onto their laptops via FireWire. The rooms will also feature either Nexo, Quest or Code three-way systems, which will ensure the loudest and clearest sound.
Over at the recording studios, the 240 square metre Studio A is outfitted for live recordings, music video shoots or large scale projects, while the 43 square metre control room holds a Soundtracs Jade S 56-channel console.
And if that doesn’t strike your fancy, Studio B offers direct loading bay access, a bathroom and kitchenette, making it the ideal choice for lockout sessions, pre-production, singles and album recording.
