We’re not worthy: Melbourne bands are hosting a free ‘Wayne’s World’ 30th anniversary tribute party

Party on, there's a 'Wayne's World' 30th anniversary tribute party coming to the B.East featuring the classic hits belted out by some of Melbourne's finest, in costume.

The Wayne’s World classic soundtrack, from ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ right through to ‘Ballroom Blitz’, will be belted out live by Melbourne’s best from 9pm.

Pearl Jam tribute Even Flow (who’ve sold out back-to-back shows at the Corner) will be joined by the much-loved rock and roll lead vocalists from Atomic Riot, My Safe Word is Murder and Wolfpack. Yep – they will be in complete costumes as well.

Wayne's World

The afternoon will kick off with a screening of Wayne’s World along with aclassic beer pong tournament, prizes for best dressed, themed food specials and Jameson and Philter Brewing drink specials.

With Even Flow’s lead vocalist Dave as Wayne, and much-loved rock and roll frontman Ash Nish from Atomic Riot as Garth, The B.East has got you front row seats to Wayne’s basement to hear Gen Y’s favourite soundtrack.

Tom, the head vocalist from blistering punk outfit Wolfpack and Grace, femme-punk powerhouse from My Safe Word is Murder will be joining them on stage to take you right back to ’92.
