Whispers are hauling their Bangkok evilcore all the way south to Howler this October for a first-ever Melbourne show, presented by beastmode, Converse and Flatspot Records. To celebrate, we’re giving away a double pass and two pairs of Chucks, so you catch them in style.
Formed in the Thai capital, Whispers have made their name on metallic hardcore, hulking riffs and pummelling breakdowns. That self-styled evilcore sound has carried them out of the Southeast Asian underground and onto stages across the globe.

The trip down under caps a fast couple of years for the group. Their Yom-Ma-Lok EP arrived through Flatspot Records in 2024, and across 2025 they toured the country as support for SPEED, tightening the live show along the way. The EP put them on an international label’s roster, while the SPEED support slots gave them their first taste of Australian crowds.
These are the band’s first dates in Australia under their own name, put together by beastmode, Converse and Flatspot Records. Capacities have been set very low across the run, and the Brunswick date is on sale now, with box office tickets only available afterwards if anything is left.
Doors open for a 7pm start, with entry limited to those aged 18 and over.
Getting there is simple enough. The venue sits a short walk from Jewel station on the Upfield line and the route 19 Coburg tram, adjoins the Upfield bike path and has a council-run car park right outside the front doors.
