Minsky’s Big Bang Burlesque is the New Years Eve Extravaganza that promises a night of swing bands, vaudeville dancers, and astounding circus tricks

Got no plans for New Years yet?

Want a night filled with swinging music, astounding performances, sweet drinks, sweeter company, and an excuse to dress up in your most out-there suits and dresses?

The House of Burlesque is hosting a glamorous evening at the Royal Melbourne Hotel, and you are invited!

Come and join in the celebration as international Burlesque performer Minsky Malone presents Minsky’s Big Bang Burlesque, the sixth New Years Eve Extravaganza that promises to entertain you with the hottest shows at a top-notch venue.

It’s the first of its kind in Melbourne, and the dressed-up audience who take part in the various competitions will contribute to the excitement just as much as the performers do. The dress code is anything ranging from the roaring 20s to circus burlesque to 19th century Moulin Rouge can-can styles.

On arrival you will be welcomed with complimentary champagne and savoury treats, while Melbourne’s own Parisian-styled 1930s Jazz Gypsy Swing band Duck Musique featuring Jolene Moran gets you into the swing. Then during their break the shows commence.

Miss Burlesque Australia Entertainer of the Year, Strawberry Siren, with her extensive background in circus, theatre and dance, and who has been performing since the tender age of 12, will have you gasping for more.

You will be thrilled by the Queen of Vaudeville and Circus, Lilikoi Kaos, who was raised in a circus, and who has performed internationally.

Daniel Gorski, the amazing multi-talented Vaudeville performer, who is also the MC for the night, will show you a very special talent that he learnt from a Chinese acrobat.

Contemporary, jazz and ballet dancer Chimene Steel-Prior blends all her skills to choreograph a unique Fan Dance routine.

And to top it all off, there are prizes to be won in competitions for pin-up, lovely legs, and best dressed.
