Video Premiere: The Jensens’ ‘Coma’ captures a moment of kaleidoscopic euphoria

Struggling with inspiration or creativity happens to the best of us, but the music clip for The Jensens’ brand new single, ‘Coma’ truly captures that sweet eureka moment we all yearn for.

The band is a certified up-and-comer, having shared the stage with The Vaccines, Last Dinosaurs and The Delta Riggs, among others. As part of their upcoming EP, set to be released in early 2019, The Jensens have dropped this psychedelic tidbit to give a taste of what’s to come.

The music clip is bound to stimulate your senses. The video tells the story of three characters struggling with a creativity block, only to fall into a rush of rainbow euphoria. The clip is vintage-looking, features a heavy, alt-rock drum line and overlapping harmonies that pay homage to an 80s synth band. What more could you want?

“It’s a visual representation of a breakthrough from mental instability, bad habits and writer’s block that ends up in a kaleidoscopic world free from the chains of routine and self-doubt,” The Jensens said of their clip.

You may also recognise a familiar face in the clip — Brisbane-based indie singer Sahara Beck.
