London-bred urban music heavyweight General Levy is set to land Down Under next week and will be taking on shows in Fremantle, Sydney, Hobart and Melbourne as part of his run.

Acclaimed for his mastery of reggae, hip hop, ska and soul, General Levy has earmarked himself as a commanding MC and in-demand collaborator — working with the likes of Sly & Robbie, Shaggy, Sting International, Artful Dodger and more. Responsible for such tracks as ‘Tell Me Why’ and ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’, General Levy unleashed his debut record Double Trouble in 1992, while clocking critical success in 1994 with his M-Beat-collaborated hit, ‘Incredible’.

Joe Ariwa will support all dates across the tour, while Melbourne can look forward to Monkey Marc, Reble Bass and Zare Demus also tagging along as this show will officially launch the 2018 Jamaican Music and Food Festival.
