It’s a beautiful day.

U2 have confirmed this morning they’ll be bringing their hugely-acclaimed Joshua Tree Tour Down Under in November.

The 2019 tour will mark 32 years since The Joshua Tree was released and according to Bono, it’s “only taken [him] 30 years to learn how to sing” the tracks.

Doing these shows has been very special for us, a lot of emotion… From the despair of how relevant some of the dark songs still are, to the joy, pure fun of the staging… it’s quite a ride,” he said in a statement.

“And now we get to do it all over again. Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul… we’re coming for you.”

It’s the first time the band are heading to Australia since 2010, when U2 stopped by for their 360° Tour. What’s more, the Irish four-piece will be supported by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.

Check out U2’s tour dates below:

Tuesday November 12 — Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane QLD

Friday November 15 — Marvel Stadium, Melbourne VIC

Tuesday November 19 — Adelaide Oval, Adelaide SA

Friday November 22 — Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney NSW

Wednesday November 27 — Optus Stadium, Perth WA

Tickets for U2’s Aussie shows go on sale Tuesday June 11 via LiveNation. U2 subscribers will have access to tickets between Tuesday June 4 and Thursday June 6.
