One paddock, three days, a ridiculous amount of talent - here's who's playing Meredith 34.
Meredith 34 has just revealed its first taste of magic, and the lineup is stacked with genre-hopping favourites for December.
The beloved bush festival returns to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre for another instalment of Meredith 34, and this year’s bill is one of the more eclectic in recent memory. Alongside camping, communal dancing and the ever-present Gift Lap, punters can expect a run of acts spanning rock, pop, electronic and everything in between.
Leading the charge is Dijon Duenas, the Baltimore-raised singer and producer making his first trip down under. Off the back of two acclaimed records, he’s built a reputation for blending raw folk, slow-jam soul and warped r’n’b into something entirely his own, and he’ll bring his full live band to the One and Only Stage.

Joining him is underscores, aka April Harper Grey, whose record U reshuffled the rules of pop with a mix of hyperpop, dubstep and punk energy. Her live show has developed a reputation as a one-woman dance party, and she’ll bring that chaos to the amphitheatre on the Saturday night.
Melbourne’s own Eddy Current Suppression Ring make a welcome return after a lengthy hiatus, marking their fourth appearance on the Nolan farm since their debut at MMF Fifteen.
The band’s stripped-back garage rock and unpredictable live energy have made them a festival favourite over the years, and their reunion set is shaping up as one of the weekend’s most anticipated moments.
Rounding out the bill are New York duo Fcukers, serving up club-ready pop and drum’n’bass-adjacent bangers, and Portland veterans The Dandy Warhols, who make their first ever appearance at Meredith with a set spanning more than two decades of glam-tinged, psychedelic indie rock.
Melbourne’s own Hiatus Kaiyote add some genre-defying jazz and neo-soul flair to proceedings, while DJ Seinfeld and DJ Love bring the dancefloor energy into the small hours. London troupe Fat Dog and New York’s Show Me The Body promise two of the weekend’s rowdier sets, sitting alongside heavier local names Twisted Teens and Spike Fuck.
There’s plenty of nostalgia on the bill too, with Australian rock favourites Killing Heidi taking a trip back through their back catalogue. Electronic pioneer Suzanne Ciani joins the program alongside Sophia Stel, Marcellus Pittman, Tara Clerkin Trio and Jorg Kuning, rounding out a strong selection of electronic and experimental acts. Ella Thompson, Yikes, Docker River Band, Miles Nautu, Hana Stretton and media puzzle add further local flavour, while Blue Communications and the City Of Ballarat Municipal Brass Band bring some unexpected charm to the Nolan farm.
D Train and Mondo Freaks also join the lineup, with further names expected to be confirmed closer to the event.
Tickets to Meredith 34 are distributed through the festival’s long-running ballot system, first introduced in 2007 to keep the process fair given demand consistently outstrips supply.
The second round of the ballot is open now and closes at 10:34pm on 18 August, with entries taken via the festival’s website.
As always, a Meredith ticket covers the lot – camping, parking, car passes and all the festival’s quirks, from Tai Chi sessions to spins on the Big Wheel. The independent, non-sponsored festival continues to funnel ticket proceeds back into the local Meredith district community.
