A smouldering, sleazy display of swampy blues acumen, Cleopatra’s Bed slithers along with burnt out guitar tones and wonderfully restrained drum smatterings. While not rivalling Cave or Liddiard in terms of narrative, the track is a fine example of dark Australiana-tinged folk.
