Peter Helliar and Human Love Quest are coming to Brunswick

Why wait until the comedy festival or Netflix's next stand-up special to get your comedy fix, the Brunswick Ballroom are hosting two events set to get you cackling.

Tuesday September 27: Human Love Quest

Marketed as the antithesis of Tinder and Grindr, Human Love Quest is a real-life dating game show that’s happening on stage at The Brunswick Ballroom tomorrow night. As always, applications are open to everyone, from all walks of life, so get in the audience or get up on stage for the mixture of humour and romance we’re all lacking in our lives.

Tickets available here.

Sunday October 16: Peter Helliar

A legend of Australian stand-up, whose best known for his roles on Rove and The Project, as well as his regular fixture on television sports shows like Before The Game, The Bounce, The Trophy Room, Helliar is still, at heart, a stand-up comedian – one who surprisingly made his name pushing the boundaries of stand-up as a bizarre art form (he used to close his sets by lying on his back for a full five minutes pretending to be a dying fly).

For the past few years, he’s been a prolific podcaster, hosting ‘You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet’ – a movie podcast where Peter Helliar chats with a movie lover about a classic or beloved film they have never seen… until now. Come celebrate the 100th episode of the ‘You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet’podcast with a special live record.

Tickets available here.
