Clear some space in the pit: Thrown are back in Australia in February 2027 for their biggest tour yet.
The Stockholm outfit sold out every date of their February 2025 Australian headline run, and Thrown are scaling right up for the return, arriving with hundreds of millions of streams and north of a million monthly Spotify listeners in their corner. Billed as their largest headline tour so far, it lands a Melbourne night at the Forum among seven stops nationwide.

The heavy credentials are hard to argue with. Thrown have shared stages with Knocked Loose, Counterparts, Fit For A King, While She Sleeps and Wage War, and recently dropped a new single, critic, through Arising Empire. It’s a sharp, confrontational track that takes aim at online tastemakers and manufactured outrage, which tells you plenty about where their heads are at.
They’re bringing reinforcements too, with a support bill that keeps the intensity dialled up from the first band to the last.
Boundaries land off the back of their latest album, Yearning: the unbeautiful after, recorded with producer Drew Fulk. The 14-track record features guest spots from The Plot In You’s Landon Tewers and Make Them Suffer, and follows the group’s sold-out Australian support run with The Plot In You.
Pittsburgh’s 156/Silence make their Australian debut on this run, touching down with cinematic, brooding material that trades in equal parts brutality and melody. Their sixth studio album, From A Distance, arrives 4 September via Pure Noise Records.
Rounding out the bill, Newcastle four-piece Volatile Ways bring their own brand of deathcore, having already earned stripes alongside The Acacia Strain, Fit For An Autopsy, Bodysnatcher, Kublai Khan, Dying Wish and Speed. Destroy All Lines have the whole thing locked in.
