Melbourne International Jazz Festival – Night Crawl

For one night only, Whitehart is taking part in the Melbourne International Jazz Festival’s Night Crawl – a jazzy journey across the CBD. Along with many of our other top city stomping grounds, Whitehart will be flinging open the doors for jazz lovers. It’s like a big pub crawl, except the music will be better. Kgomotso Residency

You know what’s special about Wednesdays? There are five of them this October. That means you’ll have five brilliant opportunities to catch Melbourne-based DJ talent Kgomotso in-house at Whitehart. This will be one (or five) you definitely don’t want to miss as it provides the perfect way to spice up your boring hump days. So grab some buddies, draw a big old line through your next few Wednesdays and head to Whitehart Bar.
Inner Sanctuary

Whitehart’s staple event Inner Sanctuary with DJ JNETT and Jimmy James is returning through October for another incredible bunch of shows. The weekly session is a favourite for a reason, bringing beats that are lively enough to get you through a mid-week slump but not too crazy as to have you exhausted all Friday.
Mike Gurrieri
- Every Friday between 4pm and 7pm
Whitehart friend and resident vibe-setter Mike G will be gearing up all your Friday nights with a perfect few hours to break in your dancing shoes. He’ll be there every Friday between 4pm and 7pm meaning you can get in early, have a few cocktails and dig in!
Mz Rizk

Kicking off October proceedings will be the phenomenal DJ and all-round music powerhouse Mz Rizk. One of the many talented artists who keep Melbourne’s multicultural stream alive and well, the DJ/Radio broadcaster will be popping in to Whitehart Bar for a set that’ll bring the heat. What a way to start the month!

Whitehart’s Nightfall is an event welcoming those from all walks of life to Melbourne’s hottest container bar. Succulent Funk

Incredibly exciting arts collective Succulent Funk are looking to juice up your Saturday night. Promising to innovate the dance floor experience, these guys will be presenting an auditory funkfest at Whitehart Bar in October. Grab your pals and boogie on down. House Inspection

Your regular Sunday House Inspection is back at Whitehart. Leading the charge on October 6 will be wax specialist and all-round cool cat DJ Gidi (segue of the year). As with all House Inspections, there’ll be plenty of juicy beats, tasty drinks and happy faces. All you have to do is get there.
Paz

Legends like Paz need little introduction to the Whitehart scene, but that’s not going to stop us. The Prolific hit-releaser and DJ professional will be bringing his brand of trippy beats to Whitehart once again in October. And like so many times before, the set will be a banging blend of genres and styles to create a unique experience that Paz has solidified as his own through the Melbourne scene.

Whitehart’s Hot House is back in mid-October, with T.Bracey returning to host the night. For those who don’t know, Hot House will provide a percussive setlist that you’ll feel as much as you’ll hear, with fresh contrasts of upbeat garage and genuine kickass house music. What’s more, you don’t have to venture into a dark and grimy club to find the music you love. Whitehart’s metropolis-clad oasis awaits you and all your house groove needs.

The wax-slinging fun will certainly not stop there. Whitehart has more deck talent on the way in October with DJ Ingrid and Uma DJ providing a slice of head-banging fun for your Saturday night.

Hdsnjmsjr is back in October, and the DJ/producer will be bringing along a bunch of funky tunes to brighten your Sunday woes. As always, Whitehart will be filling up so be sure to grab yourself a good spot, a sweet drink and enjoy the show.
SADIVA

SADIVA’s back! Whitehart’s got even more DJ shenanigans coming your way on October 15. Fans of Melbourne favourite SADIVA will be treated once again to an exhilarating set that’ll remind us all why Melbourne is the best source of musical talent.
Colette and Andy Elston

Whitehart has a couple of superstars lined up for October 18. Soul and RnB specialist Colette will be weaving together her usual tapestry of throwback funk, promising to keep the dance floor moving and feet squeaking. Joining her will be Sydney House extraordinaire Andy Elston who promises to liven up the party with his signature brand of lively funk and groovy techno beats. Whitehart keeps providing!
Lixxxtrado Global

After a successful string of shows at Whitehart in September, Lixxxtrado is backing it up this month with a monster Saturday night. With traces of Latin hip-hop and Brazilian RnB, Lixxxtrado promises something new to those who fancy a boogie. So if you’re in town on October 19, why not head down to Whitehart and see the phenom that is Lixxxtrado.
DJ Naru

DJ Naru is back with a bang. Undoubtedly one of the coolest DJs in town, Naru has a set planned for Whitehart once again this October. A genuine DJ icon, DJ Naru has rhythm ingrained in her soul. We love Genki! He’s a DJ who’s always there for us, with constant wicked sets popping up in and around Melbourne. He constantly jumps between Melbourne and Japan, so you’ll never know when you’ll get to see the genre-bending wizard in action. He will be at Whitehart on October 22 though. We promise.

Mz Rizk is back for her SECOND show of the month. Wooohooooooo! She’ll be returning to hammer home Whitehart’s event Honey, which promises some sugary sweet sets for any and all who trundle on down. You know where and when. We can’t wait!

Not only is it the coolest name ever, Liminal Horizons brings together two incredibly capable musos ready to liven up your weekend. No Era’s in town! The NYC alumni has been taking over Melbourne with his infectious beats and high-octane house. He’s at Whitehart on October 27, meaning you’ll get a chance to catch his unique style of disc-slinging up close.
