The second single from Coexist features the same shared male and female lead vocals that made the first XX album so distinctive. There’s an added depth here though, a soulfulness or honesty less glassy and detached than their debut. The bass thuds like a heartbeat, while Romy and Oliver’s quiet conversation draws you in close.
