Honouring the short-lived life and legacy of Eva Cassidy, the show gives an intimate portrayal into The Songbird’s success, music, life and loves all interwoven with 18 of her ‘hauntingly beautiful’ ballads.
Co-writer and star, Clare Bowditch inspired by the purity and mystery of Cassidy’s songs tells the story with passion and innate knowledge alongside co-writer, Jim McPherson (The Man in Black and The Ultimate Rock ‘n’ Roll Jam Session) and two other talented Aussie acts, musician, Ashley Naylor and the Blues Alley Band.
Featured in the performance will be Cassidy’s Fields of Gold, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Halleljuah I Love Him So and her gospel tune. Wade In The Water.
