The memorable outdoor cinema experience is back. The Sunset Cinema returns to Melbourne this summer with a new look, ‘The Summer Local’, encouraging Melbournians to make the cinema their local outdoor movie destination. The season runs from Wednesday December 27 until Saturday January 13.
This upcoming season will be jam packed with new releases, blockbusters, comedies, award-winning features and cult classics. The Sunset Cinema is ideal for date nights, girls’ nights out or family fun.
The cinema is located on the corner of Graham and Pickle Streets at Albert Park – just kilometers from the CBD. Albert Park’s Gasworks is the perfect space to enjoy films under the stars, with two theatres and three gallery space. It’s easily accessed via public transport by the No. 1 and 109 trams, as well as nearby bus stops. Not to mention an amazing amount of parking.
