NOTSAMO ALBUM: Means (Continuation) Celebrating the release of One Spirit Africa’s latest album, “NOTSAMO”, this is where old and new world ancestral traditions and practitioners meets contemporary mastery to continuing projecting a new universe.
One Spirit Africa’- An Afro-Fusion Band, based in Accra Ghana and Melbourne, Victoria,Australia, with true Ghanaian Roots, blending powerful authentic traditional sounds with unique harmonies that reflect the blending of historical and spiritual culture with Modern Afro-Beats. Led by Fred Nii Addo, a Ghanaian virtuoso in the realms of dance, drumming, multi-instrumentalist , and award-winning musicianship, has found his artistic home in the vibrant state of Victoria, Australia. With a rich tapestry of experience woven over many years in the world of performance, he is a luminary in his field. Fred’s mesmerizing flute melodies and captivating vocal prowess have left audiences worldwide enchanted. His achievements include an impressive touring repertoire, having graced stages in Sweden, Israel, Egypt, the USA, New Zealand, and numerous African nations. Fred Nii Addo is a true global ambassador of rhythm and harmony, a maestro who transcends borders with his artistry. A major Ghanaian choreographer, with many years of experience, recording 21 Albums to date.
Performing before One Spirit Africa are The Seben Brothers, who are a dance band that exclusively plays African music, and particularly a dance style called Soukous which comes from the DRC in Central Africa.
The band features guitars, bass and drums and a heavy vocal frontline featuring four vocalists.
The band have been performing in the Melbourne region for the last seven years and the members are veteran musicians including local and African artists.
Both multicultural bands offers an engaging ‘Dance Vibe’ to an audience of any age.

For all of Feb, we’re celebrating Afro beat, jazz, disco, funk, kwaito, highlife, Congolese soukous, rumba, sabar rhythms and alllll the fusions, the Brewpub is hosting mega talent this February from Africa, The Caribbean, Latin America and other parts of the world.
Revel in live music from 7:30-9:30pm Wed + Thur and from 4pm Sunday over four weeks alongside drink and food specials.
Wine and dine to Afro jazz, funk & soul on Thursdays and bring your dancing shoes on Sundays for some upbeat rhythms.
