Who are we chatting to and describe your sound?  John Rousvanis, lead vocals and guitar and Simon Quinn, backings vocals, programming and synths. We also have Craigus McVegas on bass and analogue keys. We could be described as a down tempo, R&B electronic act featuring soulful vocals sung over beautifully textured ambient soundscapes and hypnotising guitar work.

Who do people reckon you sound like?  People have said we sound like Beffroi, Nick Murphy, BANKS, FKA Twigs, and even early Depeche Mode and The Cure.

How did you get together? Our first shows were just playing loose sets at friends’ house parties, where we were jamming until the early hours of the morning. We weren’t really trying to write hit songs or get recognition from other people. We were doing it mostly for ourselves, when all of a sudden we started getting serious offers for shows.

Got any shows coming up? We’re playing at the next instalment of the Non DJ Electronic Marquee. We’re especially excited because we’ll be releasing three singles, all of which are available for free download from our Bandcamp page.

How does it feel to be blowing up? It’s an amazing feeling to have so many people really digging our music and the shows keep getting bigger and better. We don’t really expose ourselves to a ton of popular culture or the news. We don’t really know how much people are talking about us or about any other band. We just keep doing what we do.
