It’s been nearly a year since the last luncheon, but fret not, fans of alternative country; The Outlaw Luncheon is back and just as Americana as you remember.
The Outlaw Luncheon encompasses everything Americana, featuring a stellar lineup of Melbourne’s best alternative country artists, cold bevvies, and market stalls offering all the vintage threads and records to peruse.
Headlining the show is Melbourne’s powerhouse, Brooke Taylor, with her band The Poison Spitting Gin Queens. Taylor has proven to be a show-stopper rocking stages nationwide at events like St Kilda Music Festival, Bruthen Blues Festival, The Taste of Tassie and many more.

Her music is a unique blend of genres, wrapped up into alternative country with unmistakable influences of rock, country, pop and soul. The musical maverick has shared the stage with legends like Tex Perkins, Renee Geyer and Joe Pug, establishing herself as a force to be reckoned with.
Sharing the lineup with Taylor will be Duncan Phillips, Ben Mastwyk & The Energy, and Stefanie Duzel & Misty Harlowe. The music is guaranteed to tug at your heartstrings and keep you dancing all night long.
The event is organised by Outlaw Entertainment and sponsored by Dainton Beer. Outlaw Entertainment was founded in 2021 as a response to the challenges of the pandemic, aiming to revitalise the Americana and alternative country scene.
The earlier monthly Outlaw Luncheons were held at Coburg RSL, but now the event is moving to George Lane in St Kilda, promising the same Americana fun and music enthusiasts have come to love.
