The Offspring, who emerged from Garden Grove’s suburban sprawl in the mid-80s, played a pivotal role in catapulting punk rock into the mainstream during the 1990s. With global record sales exceeding 40 million and two tracks in Spotify’s prestigious Billions Club, the band’s influence on alternative music culture is undeniable.

For an act that cut their teeth in California’s hardcore scene, The Offspring have shown remarkable staying power. Their setlist promises to span their entire catalogue, from early angst-ridden anthems like Self Esteem to recent releases such as Light It Up and Make It All Right.

Tour support Simple Plan brings their own impressive credentials to the package. The Montreal group has shifted more than 10 million albums worldwide and recently completed a sold-out eight-show Australian run. Their most recent album, 2022’s self-released Harder Than It Looks, demonstrates their continued relevance in the contemporary punk landscape.

The partnership of these two influential acts promises to deliver a high-energy showcase of punk rock’s enduring appeal, bridging multiple generations of alternative music fans under one roof.

The all-ages shows will open doors at 5:30pm, with tickets for the new dates going on sale Friday 17 January at 9am local time. Given the rapid sell-out of previous dates and The Offspring’s recent intimate Melbourne show, promoters are advising fans to act quickly to secure their spots.
