Scaling things up from the concert hall to the stadium, Sea Of Love kind of undermines the intimacy of Matt Berninger’s grizzled baritone for a payoff that’s not quite worth the trade. The stripped back chorus of “If I stay here/Trouble will find me” (from which album title Trouble Will Find Me is taken) is a welcome eye in the cyclonic storm of percussion and walls of noise. One of the weaker cuts from a pretty great album.
