Sydney regret-rockers The Moderate Themes are heading to Bar 303 to launch their debut EP, ‘A Movie I Used to Love’. Consisting of members from beloved local bands Library Siesta and YEEVS, the new duo write distinctive, poignantly humourous songs that explore the gaps between past expectations and present realities. In solo mode, Paul Macadam will be playing songs from the EP, yet-to-be-heard Moderate Themes tunes, and a couple of numbers from his own back catalogue.
Opening the night will be The Cans, who play rock and roll music, jazz-influenced punk, and pop song covers. Their first performance in two years will be one well worth seeing.
