"It’s quiet determination, and whilst maybe wishful thinking to an extent, it’s a song to mark the beginning of a slow uprising.”

Brisbane alternative rock outfit are back from their indefinite hiatus, unleashing their commanding new single ‘Conformist’. Known for their brutally honest lyricism, the track narrates a slow uprising from people who dare think outside the box. The track is a taster of the band’s long awaited sophomore album Experience Everything. Live and Die., which drops on November 11, teasing the album’s new hard hitting sound.

Produced, mixed and mastered by Jimmy Alexander (Awaken I Am, Slaves, alt.), ‘Conformist’ exudes confidence and determinism, commanding listeners to pay attention.

“Group thinking is rigid and unadaptive,” says the bands vocalist and bassist, Dominic Harper. “We blindly follow our own indoctrinations from religion, politics or ideology and never question them effectively.”

“This has led to disconnection en masse and polarization between groups. Unfortunately, it’s very socially expensive to have unique and creative thoughts and ideas and leaves you very lonely.”

Having shared the stage with the likes of Thrice, Circa Survive, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Don Broco, they’re known for their powerful live performance. Hot off the back of their national tour supporting Waxflower, they’re looking forward to sharing more from this new chapter.

“In today’s world, we are so outwardly focussed on things – material possessions, our social stature or future goals. While there isn’t anything inherently wrong with this view, all we really have in each moment is our experience, here and now.”

“This record is our attempt to really focus on our experiences and our life in the present moment.”

Experience Everything. Live and Die. will be available November 11, via Greyscale Records. Pre-order it now by heading to their website here.
