The Bamboos Sign New International Label Deals

In Australia and New Zealand, it’s out on Friday November 8 through band leader Lance Ferguson’s Pacific Theatre label, distributed by Inertia.

In early 2014, Sony issues the album in Europe and the UK. Nettwerk, home to Angus & Julia Stone and Boy & Bear takes care of it in in the US, Canada and Mexico. Holiday Revolution, also home to Flume, releases it in Japan this year.

Lead off singe Avenger is playlisted in triple j. A new video, combining live and animated footage, is to be issued soon. It was shot by We Buy Your Kids, who have also been behind all other design elements of the album.

The Bamboos have just announced Sydney four piece OXBLVD as the support for their national tour, which winds up in Melbourne at The Forum on Saturday December 7. The young band, discovered through triple j Unearthed, have just returned from their first US visit and are working on a debut EP.
