This marks a significant milestone for frontwoman Taasha Coates, who continues The Audreys’ legacy following the untimely passing of co-founder Tristan Goodall in 2022. The tour coincides with the 20th anniversary of the band’s formation in 2004.
“I’ve overcome a lot of hurdles to get to this point and I’m really gosh darn happy to be here!” Coates reveals. “We have a whole national tour coming up starting at the end of March and running right through until June. It will be lots of songs from the new album and lots of old Audreys favourites. Can’t wait!”
The Audreys boast an impressive back catalogue, with their first three albums all taking home ARIA Awards for Best Blues & Roots Album. Their fourth release also scored an ARIA nomination, cementing their place as one of Australia’s most respected roots acts.
Beyond our shores, the band has conquered stages across North America, the UK and Europe, building a devoted following with their silken sonic stylings and dynamic live performances.
