Berlin-based DJ Spit is your headliner and lead for a night of hardcore futurist-infused rave music on this public-holiday-eve. Experience the genre-blending hybrid sounds that have made him a sensation, driving the EXPLORERS contemporary musical exploration project. He’s commanded performances in Berghain/Panorama Bar, Waterworks Festival, K41, Dekmantel Selectors and Draaimolen, b2b with VTSS and Sherelle as well as a Boiler Room session and a residency at Refuge Worldwide. Another public holiday eve, another epic night upstairs. This time, the PBS dance DJs are taking over. DJ MzRizk (disco, boogie and hiphop), ‘Mystic Brew’ host Mike Gurrieri (jazz, soul and electronica) and Jonny Alexander (house, soul and dub) present a diversity of dance, mixing it up for the evening. Six-piece disco outfit Steady Weather will be playing live, featuring up-and-coming neo-soul vocalist Rita Satch and Ben Grayson and Tamil Rogeon from Naarm’s own dance and jazz community, themselves founders of Aussie funk group The Bamboos and early orchestral beat music in The Raah Project. Get ready to groove until the small hours – 3am, specifically.

Celebrating the 10th year of the Winter series, they’re kicking off the season with a stellar international DJ session presented by Thick as Thieves & Revolver Sundays. Two powerhouse US artists will take over Revolver Upstairs for an all-day party for the people, a marathon from 7am until 10pm. New York-born, Miami-based Layla Benitez is the season opener. From her world touring to her 2021 Boiler Room set and current residency at Space Miami, Benitez has shown herself to be an exciting and ever-evolving producer and selector. She brings a unique sound she describes as ‘indie dance meets dark disco’ alongside her melodic techno.
Joining her is Azzecca, one of Chicago’s most exciting electronic artists, selling out shows globally with her unique blend of techno, house, acid and cosmic sounds. Her breakout track, Other Side, has over 13 million streams, she’s remixed Confidence Man, Rex The Dog, Mindchatter and more, and she’s taken the stage with high-energy sets at festivals like Coachella, Movement Detroit, Watergate, and The Warehouse Project. Get hot and sweaty for the winter sessions with a day-to-night dance session a decade in the making.
