There will be pizza workshops by AVPN Pizza Association, cooking demonstrations from Melbourne’s top chefs and providores (including Rosa Mitchell from Rosa’s Canteen and 400 Gradi’s Johnny di Francesco) and all-important tasting opportunities.
This year’s list of pop-up restaurants include the tantalising likes of 400 Gradi, Caterina’s, Trattoria Emilia, Small Axe, Pasta Adagio, La Bonta, Bar Idda and Pasta Classica. The Marketplace includes treats from That’s Amore Cheese, Prosciutto di Parma Consorzio, Saluministi, Pane Pizzico and 7 Apples Gelato, to name but a few.
If you love a good drop, you’ll be stoked with the introduction of a Barolo Bar and Franciacorta Bar for the ultimate wine tasting experience. You’ll be able to indulge in a whopping selection of 200+ Italian wines by the region, explore Italian-centric Aussie wines, meet the makers or attend an Italian wine masterclass designed for both professionals and the casual enthusiast. There’ll also be wine gardens with live music, cocktail bars, coffee from Espresso di Manfredi’s baristas, Moretti Beer on tap and entertainment.
Molto bene.
