ARIA-nominated DJ Groove Terminator is set to take the stage at Melbourne’s own Forum, joining forces with the sensational three-time Grammy-winners, Soweto Gospel Choir. Let this monumental collaborative force take you on a trip through the 80s into the new millennium on October 28.

Set to grace the Forum in Melbourne and the Theatre Royal in Castemaine, this extraordinary show will take you on an exhilarating journey through the evolution dance music, through the inception of house music in the mid-80s, its triumph through the 90s, and its impact as we approached the new millennium.

Leading the evening, the Soweto Gospel Choir takes the cake when it comes to renowned names in the gospel sphere, having shared the limelight with music legends such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Bono, Queen, and Celine Dion.

Blending their harmonious voices with the infectious beats of 70s disco and the catchy melodies of 80s pop, their fusion of rhythm and soul sets the stage for an evening of musical time travel like no other.

Behind the turntables is none other than DJ Groove Terminator, a true luminary among Australia’s top DJs, with a remarkable career spanning over three decades.

With a flair for producing dance music that resonates deeply with the soul, Groove Terminator is known for his melodic rhythms that get the crowd dancing.

Previously making waves at the 2020 Adelaide Fringe during its debut season, History of House took the festival by storm, earning the prestigious title of Best Music Show. Now, this spectacular production is set to captivate Melbourne with its unique blend of gospel melodies, funky rhythms, and pulsating house beats.
