Suzi Quatro will play Melbourne's Palais Theatre this December as part of a national run with Baby Animals.
Suzi Quatro is returning to Australia this year for a national tour that lands at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre in December.
The Detroit-born singer, bassist and rock ‘n’ roll trailblazer will bring special guests Baby Animals along for six seated and outdoor shows across the country. Suzi Quatro’s run takes in Rooty Hill, Sydney, Hobart, the Gold Coast, Melbourne and Fremantle.

Born in Detroit in 1950, Quatro started out early in her family’s band, the Art Quatro Trio, before playing alongside her sister Patti in the Pleasure Seekers at 14. Armed with a bass, a leather jumpsuit and a lot of energy, she became one of the first women to shape rock rather than sit at its edges.
In 1973 she landed a worldwide number one with Can the Can, then kept the run going with 48 Crash, Devil Gate Drive and the US duet Stumblin’ In. Singer, bassist, actress, author and radio host, Quatro has since sold more than 55 million records and picked up a swag of honours, including a Sony Radio Award nomination.
Beyond music, she turned up in the cult series Happy Days, took to London’s West End in Annie Get Your Gun, and has hosted her own BBC Radio 2 programs since 1999. The 2019 documentary Suzi Q charted her story, a collaboration with KT Tunstall followed, and new studio album Freedom arrived in 2026.
She’ll also headline a summer edition of the Red Hot Summer Tour, with outdoor shows in Brisbane, Lake Macquarie, Torquay and the Barossa Valley backed by a rotating cast of homegrown acts. The Victorian date lands at Torquay Common on 29 November. The seated headline dates run alongside the festival shows through November and December, with tickets for every show on sale from 12 August at 10am local time.
