US rock powerhouse St. Vincent is playing four Victorian shows in late November.

St. Vincent will play at the famed Palais Theatre in St. Kilda on Monday November 25 and at the newly refurbished Her Majesty’s Theatre in Ballarat on Tuesday November 26.

The hugely coveted ALWAYS LIVE An Intimate Audience With… event series returns in 2024, kicking off on Thursday November 28. The return of this once-in-a-lifetime event series takes place high above the city skyline at The Aviary, Crown Melbourne, pairing an exclusive live performance and Q&A from the cult artist alongside a world-class curated dining experience.

Finally, St. Vincent will also play a just announced show with Telenova at The Forum on November 28.

Marking its third year, Always Live has announced its 2024 return with an epic 17-day statewide celebration of contemporary live music, set to take over Victoria from 22 November to 8 December.

From Gippsland to Geelong, Ballarat to Bendigo, this year’s program includes a huge array of free and low-cost events and puts grassroots and regional venues centre stage, hosting everything from one-off shows and underplays to podcasts, conversations, and workshops.

Always Live’s curated program of unique and exclusive music moments, supported by the state government through Visit Victoria, continues to champion the state’s live music ecosystem, further cementing Victoria’s reputation as the live music capital of Australia. This first announcement unveils a staggering lineup showcasing homegrown talent, the finest acts from around the country, and major international performances featuring over 289 artists, including 208 from Victoria, in more than 65 events across the state, with 35% of the program in regional Victoria.
