Third time lucky!
Splendour in the Grass has once again been rescheduled due to ongoing COVID restrictions.
The 20th edition of the festival, initially billed for July this year, will now see its first springtime edition – taking place from November 19 to 21.
Beloved headliners Gorillaz, Tyler, the Creator and The Strokes have confirmed they will still perform.

Over the past year, Splendour has waged a determined battle against the pandemic and its many restrictions – having had its July 2020 show rescheduled to October last year then July this year. Now, the festival’s winter dates have fallen to the mercy of COVID – hopefully for the very last time.
Thanking the community for their flexibility and support over such trying times, Splendour in the Grass co-founders Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticc said the November event was “going to be worth the wait”.
“We had so hoped to bring you Splendour’s 20th Anniversary edition this July but we can’t stage the event that you know and love within the current restrictions and international border closures,” they said.
“Since March 2020, not a single festival in Australia has been able to run at full capacity and the industry is currently operating at a fraction of pre-COVID levels.”
“To the music loving public, when a tour or event is postponed we ask you to hold onto your tickets. This is the best way to support your favourite artist or event right now.”
Ticket holders will be able to retain their tickets for the November show, while second hand tickets can be purchased from Moshtix.
Ticket refunds are open today from 12pm, until March 31 – Moshtix will be in touch with ticket holders via email.
