The project of Jean-Pierre Smadja, Smadj brings together elements of jazz, Arabic music and digital technology with virtuosic effect. Since releasing his debut album, Equilibriste, he has gone on to work with the likes of Natacha Atlas, Talvin Singh, Rokia Traore and Ibrahim Maalouf alongside producing more than 16 albums.
