Newcastle’s The Seabellies were bashed on the final night of a month-long residency at The Evelyn. After a celebratory dinner on a Saturday night, they were attacked on Brunswick Road by ten thugs with sticks and belts. Bass player Eddie Garven was taken to hospital for stitches on his forehead, singer Trent Grenell had cuts and bruises, while keyboardist Steph Setz had whip marks.
