Sound Of Melbourne Records are a new indie looking for unsigned acts from Melbourne/Victoria, with a comp due out in April. They’re looking for bands, singer/songwriters, and maybe even a spoken word track from a poet. They’re also looking for 12-14 graphic artists to produce art for the CD/booklet. The idea is that the music and visuals go in hand; they’ll exhibit the artwork at gigs, or have gigs at galleries. They hope to produce a compilation and exhibition each year and maybe take it on tour.
