Sarah Mary Chadwick takes on the largest grand romantic organ in the Southern Hemisphere

Singer Sarah Mary Chadwick will be taking on the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Organ in a special free performance on Friday June 15.

The kiwi-born vocalist has created a work called ‘The Queen Who Stole The Sky’, specifically commissioned for the historical instrument – the largest of it’s kind in the southern hemisphere.

The concert comes off the back of Sarah’s fourth studio album, Sugar Still Melts in the Rain, and will see the artist bring her emotive and moving lyricism to the grandeur of the organ.

With support from vocalist Sweet Whirl aka Esther Edquist, you should probably bring tissues and prepare for some tears.
