Just before his sold out Sydney Opera House show tonight, Sam Smith has announced that he will return on his The Thrill of It All world tour to Australia this November, performing five more arena shows in Australia and New Zealand. The Melbourne show at Rod Laver Arena is on Tuesday November 6.

The Thrill of It All debuted at the top of the charts in the UK, US and New Zealand and hit number two on the ARIA Album Chart, selling more than 2.1 million copies worldwide. It features the hit ‘Too Good at Goodbyes’ which is Smith’s first single to hit number one in Australia.

Recently, Smith has dedicated his time to performing to sold out audiences and honing his song writing skills. This will be his first Australian and New Zealand tour in three years. This world tour will see Smith play his biggest venues to date as he travels to the UK, Europe, and the US before Australia.

Sam Smith rose to fame after being featured on Disclosure’s hit track ‘Latch’ and has since released his five time platinum debut album In the Lonely Hour. Not to mention his award winning James Bond theme ‘Writing’s On the Wall’ (Academy Award, Golden Globe, three Brit Awards, three Billboard Music Awards, and four Grammys).
