RVG have a new album on the way

They’ve also given a taste of what’s to come with a new single.

Melbourne outfit RVG have been on the up-and-up since the release of their debut LP A Quality Of Mercy in 2017 and they’ve just revealed the details for its highly-anticipated follow up.

Due for release in April, the album – titled Feral – will see the band jumping on board with iconic independent record label Fire Records (Black Lips, Vanishing Twin) who will distribute the record in all counties bar Australia and New Zealand, where the band’s long-time label Our Golden Friend will do the honours.

A call-to-arms against complacency, Feral will continue RVG’s signature blend of anarchal punk and heartfelt retro-pop. Providing a sneak peek at what’s in store and marking the beginning of their next chapter, the band have also delivered a new single and film clip.

Titled ‘I Used To Love You’, the track is a raw depiction of the emotional rubble left behind by a failed relationship. Check it out below.

It’s shaping up to be a mammoth year for RVG, with the Melbourne punks heading on tour supporting Pixies, along with support slots for Sleaford Mods, Faith No More and a handful of headline shows.

These guys are about to explode.

Feral is out via Our Golden Friend and Fire Records on Friday April 24. Pre-order a copy of the album here
