Los Angeles-based artist Wallice is embarking on her first-ever headline tour of Australia, and she's set to hit the stage at Northcote Social Club on October 14.
Following her successful stint as direct support for The 1975’s At Their Very Best tour across Australia, New Zealand and Asia, this tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for fans of the rising star. Presented by Secret Sounds, the tour will kick off in Brisbane on Friday 13, before making its way to Melbourne for a performance at the Northcote Social Club on October 14.

Speaking on the announcement, Wallice says: “It’s been a dream of mine for a while now to open for the 1975. I can’t believe it finally happened let alone in Australia and New Zealand, two places I’ve always wanted to go to. It was amazing playing in front of my biggest crowds yet, and being able to meet so many amazing fans as well. I can’t wait to come back this October for my own headline shows. I feel so lucky to be able to travel so far and share my music. It’s also an honor to be a part of the very first SXSW! I’ve never been to one, so I can’t wait to come back and be a part of that too! ”
“A recurrent theme in my music has been friendship. I think this song can easily relate to both friendship and the friendship within a romantic relationship. I’ve had a couple falling outs with various friends throughout my life, I think it’s just part of life and growing up. Even though that friendship might not serve you anymore it’s still so easy to reminisce on it and miss it.”
