Indie take-over: Melbourne’s hometown heroes to play the Brunswick Ballroom

brunswick ballroom

This month, the Brunny is offering up its stage to three of the city's favourite local artists.

Melbourne has local talent in droves. Every second, in studios and bedrooms across the city, there are musicians hard at work rehearsing, recording and jotting down lyrics in their tattered notebooks.

The folks over at the Brunswick Ballroom think that deserves celebrating – and we do too. The iconic venue will be paying tribute the heartfelt songwriters, guitar janglers and indie darlings of our town with nine artists scheduled to play across May and June.

Brunswick Ballroom Indie Take-Over

Fresh off the release of her long-awaited single Take The Blame, Hannah Cameron will be putting on a rivetting show at the Ballroom with the support of Perth’s underground alt-folk enigma Jacob Diamond. Revered for her crystal-clear voice, poetic lyricism and infallible guitar playing, she’s expected to give an utterly mesmerizing performance.
