Melbourne's RISING festival has announced its return for 2025, with the city-wide cultural event set to run from June 4-15.
Following what organisers – and Beat – have called their “best year yet” in 2024, the festival has promised an ambitious program to be revealed in early 2025.
To bridge the gap between festivals, RISING has released a summer mixtape curated by PBS FM’s Adriana. Known for her Opalakia program, Adriana’s mix blends world music, boogie, and disco, reflecting the festival’s commitment to diverse cultural programming.

The announcement comes alongside the release of festival vouchers for both merchandise and tickets, with merch options including limited-edition prints by artist Jeremy Deller. Proceeds from select items support both the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Medical Aid for Palestine.
As a not-for-profit organisation, RISING continues to emphasise accessibility through free experiences and affordable ticketing options, with all donations supporting artist commissions and festival programming.
