Festival organisers revealed the lineup after a successful pre-sale earlier this week that once again demonstrated the loyalty of CMC Rocks QLD’s dedicated fanbase. Nearly half the crowd travels from interstate each year, with 67 per cent of surveyed attendees in 2025 being returning fans, many with more than a decade of CMC weekends under their belts.

Since launching in 2008, CMC Rocks has established itself as a cornerstone of Australia’s live music calendar. The festival has built a reputation as a launching pad for country music’s next big names, giving Australian audiences their first taste of future stadium-fillers including Luke Combs in 2018 and Taylor Swift back in 2009, years before her global superstardom took off.

Festival highlights include the popular Songwriters Show, an intimate Nashville-style performance where four artists share their songs and stories in a fully acoustic setting. Late-night entertainment comes courtesy of The Amazon Music After Party at the Tailgate Stage, exclusively for campers who want to keep the party going.

Food, drinks and entertainment options abound across the festival site. Nifty’s Sports Bar returns with cold drinks, Bundy Bingo and live sports on big screens, while the YETI Station VIP Bar offers premium comfort. Big Time Charlie’s honky tonk will host the Big Time Bootscooter line dancing competition, and festival-goers can dine at The Boatshed Restaurant between sets.

Shopping and market stalls provide plenty of browsing opportunities, from the Music Shop to local artisan goods at the Market Stalls. Ariat & Outback Traders will help fans complete their festival look, while Back Forty showcases emerging local talent at the Cowboy Campground and Great Northern House.

Families aren’t forgotten either, with Lil’ Buckaroos Time returning for music, face painting and activities for younger attendees, and the young at heart of course.
