Following two successful years, the urban country music festival has announced its coming back.
Dust off those Stetsons and polish your boots – the concrete jungle is about to get a whole lot more country as Ridin’ Hearts Festival rolls back into Sydney and Melbourne this October for its third rootin’ tootin’ year.
The brainchild of the legends behind CMC Rocks QLD, Ridin’ Hearts has rapidly become the ultimate urban sanctuary for both diehard country fans and the merely country-curious. Past editions have featured heavyweights Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, Cooper Alan and Sam Barber, with this year’s lineup promised to crank things up another notch.

Forget what you think you know about country festivals – Ridin’ Hearts serves up a proper party atmosphere with top-shelf attractions alongside the music. Beyond the chart-topping headliners and emerging talent, punters can expect trendy bars, mouth-watering tucker, fashion market stalls and the beloved Sparkle Station for those who want to add some bling to their festival look.
Thirsty attendees can wet their whistles with the signature Ride ‘Em Gambler cocktail at the Bulldust Bar, while those looking to level up can upgrade to the exclusive Diamond Club for a premium experience.
The festival isn’t just about the established stars either. The Ridin’ Starts Initiative returns for 2025, giving hometown heroes their shot at festival glory alongside industry mentorship – a proper leg-up for the next generation of Aussie country talent.
The rising tide of country music across Australia shows no signs of slowing, and Ridin’ Hearts is firmly at the helm of this twangy takeover. While the full lineup and venue details are still under wraps, festival organisers promise they’re worth the wait.
Presented by Frontier Touring, this year’s Ridin’ Hearts Festival promises to be the perfect excuse to don your Western wear and embrace your inner country spirit – even if you’re slap-bang in the middle of the city.
