Queer Mess

We’re super stoked to be throwing our next Queer Mess party in The Bergy Seltzer’s brand spanking new band room (right next door).

You can expect the same QM vibes, but within a 250 capacity clubroom and beer garden. Not only is our capacity bigger, but we’re very happy to announce that Queer Mess is now an accessible event. We also have a later license, meaning you can dance it out until 3am.

To reserve a table for you and your pals, please DM The Bergy Seltzer directly. However, because we have a bigger home, walk ins are all good.

This is a free entry event, however we will be collecting to Pay the Rent. Since we started, we’ve managed to pay over $3,000 in rent. Any profit we make as promoters will also be used to Pay the Rent. Our DJs are also contributing their time and their tunes. The more you spend behind the bar, the more rent we get to pay.

This event is based on the stolen land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. Queer Mess pays respect to elders past and present, and recognise that sovereignty was never ceded.

If you have any questions re: accessibility please DM The Bergy Seltzer who will be able to 100% confirm what you’d like to know. But we can confirm that the band room is accessible to wheelchair and mobility aid users.

If you’re feeling unwell please stay at home. COVID is still out there. FOMO is real, but we will be back.
Don’t be a dickhead and look after others.
