Define your genre in five words or less:
Two- piece punk and grunge.
So, someone is walking past as you guys are playing, they then go get a beer and tell their friend about you… what do they say?
WTF is your story? I just saw two dudes blisterate an old guy’s face off over there and you’re standing here drinking a shandy!
How long have you been gigging and writing?
Been playing together for a while, but only really ‘gigging’ for a year or so.
What has been your favourite gig you’ve played to date?
A show we played at Pony a little while ago – we haven’t been doing this long enough to have anything too crazy to tell – but rest assured, we’re as ‘crazy’ as the next bloke.
Which band would you most like to have a battle/showdown with?
Maybe some half-baked, riff rocking, metal flavoured High School band – because through experience, we would already have a fair idea of their musical scope – so in a battle situation, we’d be in with chance.
What inspires or has influenced your music the most?
Awesome home-grown bands like Violent Soho and Six Ft Hick.
What do you think a band has to do these days to succeed?
A healthy combination of hard work and online hype. Personally we think it’s also handy if you’re actually good.
Do you have any record releases to date? What? Where can I get it?
Yes, we have a debut EP called Sinners, recorded and produced by Neil Coombe (John Steel Singers, DZ Deathrays, The Go Betweens). You can have it for free via http://udaystiger.bandcamp.com/. You can get handmade CDs or T-shirt’s at shows or on request.
Why should everyone come and see your band?
Because our set is no-nonsense and we have good merch at competitive prices.
When are you playing live/releasing your album/EP/single/etc?
