Straight up Purpose is a beast, his track presence, flow, versatility and lyrics make him one of the most important hip hop artists in Australia for the next ten years. You should all know the story by now – cocky kid wins repeated battle titles, drops mixtapes and eventually a crew album with Pagen Elypsis. It’s almost the perfect evolution of a hip hop artist, paying dues, developing skills, then killing it on tracks. This mixtape is a combination of jacked beats and Purpose originals. Hacksaw lays the on-point cuts start to end, whilst Purpose flex’s across all 14 tracks. Basically this shit is far too good to be given away for free, the fact that it is a bonus for fans of good music. Standouts are Remember featuring a blistering Prime verse, All Over The World & Where I’m Coming From, but there are no weak points.
