Pulp are finally coming back to Australia and New Zealand after more than a decade away.

British band Pulp will hit stages across both countries next year, playing headline shows in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, plus an appearance at Adelaide Festival. It marks their first visit since 2013 and comes hot on the heels of their eighth studio album More, which dropped earlier this year.

The band reformed for the second time in 2023, playing shows across the UK, Europe and North America that reminded everyone why they’re considered one of Britain’s most vital groups.

Unlike their 2011 reunion which focused purely on back catalogue material, this time around they’ve been road-testing new material, starting with The Hymn of the North, originally written for Simon Stephens’ 2019 play Light Falls.

Adding new band members and a string section has given Pulp fresh energy without losing what made them special in the first place. More captures that balance perfectly, with songs that feel both intimate and expansive, grounded in everyday details while reaching for something bigger.

For Australian and New Zealand fans who’ve been waiting 13 years for another chance to see Pulp live, this tour represents a rare opportunity. These aren’t just nostalgia shows either, with the band clearly energised by their new material and expanded lineup.

Artist pre-sale kicks off at 9am AEDT on Wednesday 5 November, with general tickets available from 9am AEDT on Friday 7 November.

More is available now across all streaming and purchase platforms, giving fans plenty of time to familiarise themselves with the new material before the 2026 shows roll around.
