As if the year wasn’t already off to a great start, Prince Bandroom is cranking the volume right up with a month of epic shows.

It’s hit after hit after hit at the Prince Bandroom this month. The St Kilda oasis of music and culture is pulling out all the stops this February with a calendar of icons hitting the stage.

They’ve got a little bit of Persian royalty with Khalse, a dash of American hard rock with Tyketto, a sprinkle of animated rap with Lil Darkie, a night of hypnotic beats with SOSA, plus a viral YouTuber-cum-live performer with CG5. Need we say more?

Hypnotic groove master SOSA is making a much-anticipated appearance on Aussie shores this February. Known for his minimal-tech productions, the British DJ is bringing his signature style to the Prince Bandroom for a show for the history books. SOSA will be supported by the likes of Funk Formula and Keltik. This is shaping up to be the kind of party you’re going to want to cancel your weekend plans for, with SOSA’s sound banging around your skull long after the show is over. Catch him in the country while you can.

The underground’s favourite duo are keeping the Intercell party rolling with a massive afterparty at Prince Bandroom. Following their festival appearance, techno titans Patrick Mason and VTSS are teaming up behind the decks for a back-to-back set that promises to push the Prince’s sound system to its limits. They’ll be joined by Kyle Starkey and Intercell alumni Brent Honey and Pleasant Michelle for an intimate showcase that’s bound to get messy.

Another international troupe will be taking over the Prince this February, with iconic melodic hard rockers Tyketto at the helm of this Thursday night. On their debut Australian headline tour, the American quartet will be bringing the hardest of rock to this corner of St Kilda. With almost four decades of performing under their belts, Tyketto sure knows how to put on a show. The veterans of rock will be dipping deep into their discography, delivering hit after hit from over their careers. Grab a ticket while they’re hot.

Persian rap legend Sepehr Khalse is hitting up the Prince Bandroom this Valentine’s Day for a lovefest like no other. The ultimate V Day party, expect 6 hours of nonstop Persian hits. Suffice to say, come with your dancing shoes on. Guests can even snatch up a VIP table, as well as score tickets to meet and greet this legend of the Persian music scene. The recommended dress code is red for ladies and black for gentlemen. From top to toe, you just know this is going to be one hell of a romantic fiesta. 

K.I.M (The Presets)

One half of iconic Australian dance duo The Presets is gracing St Kilda’s Prince Bandroom for a special free show this February. Known for his work behind the decks, Kim Moyes has spent the last 15 years taking his renowned DJ sets across the globe, while also producing for the likes of DMA’s, DZ Deathrays and Golden Features. With several solo EPs under his belt via Modular Recordings and Motorik! Records, plus an experimental documentary score in Phenomena, K.I.M’s signature electronic sound has proven impossible to pin down. The ARIA Award winner will be joined by Akeylah for what’s set to be a sweaty night of pure electronic mayhem. Don’t sleep on grabbing that RSVP – this is one free party that won’t stay quiet for long.

American musician, record producer and YouTuber extraordinaire CG5 is paying a visit to St Kilda this February. The viral sensation will be debuting his craft in Australia with a very special appearance at Prince Bandroom. Punters can even snatch up some VIP tickets to meet and greet the beloved internet boy. Performing non-stop hits from a catalogue that spans from electropop to pop punk, CG5 will be playing all the crowd favourite remixes, originals and covers that fans have come to love him for. This guy doesn’t have over 8 million YouTube subscribers for no good reason. Grab a ticket before they’re gone.

Isabel LaRosa: Heaven Doesn’t Wait Tour

She’ll be joined by her brother and collaborator Thomas LaRosa, along with special guest Eluera.

This licensed all-ages show marks the Melbourne date of his first Australian tour, which also includes stops in Brisbane, Wollongong and Sydney. Meet and greet packages including soundcheck access are available.
