Already scheduled for her own Australian tour this year, London’s ‘First Lady of Soul’, PP Arnold is set to make even more appearances on the stage as part of the RocKwiz Revue national tour.
Cutting her teeth as a backing vocalist for Ike & Tina Turner in the ’60s, PP Arnold’s talent was quick to turn heads – attracting the attention of Mick Jagger who facilitated her contract with Immediate Records, leading to the release of her debut solo album The First Lady of Immediate. Arnold went on to storm the London soul scene, performing alongside the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Roger Waters, and Rod Stewart during her 50 year career.
In addition to her run of Australian headline tour dates, PP Arnold will join the RocKwiz gang for their 12-date national tour next month. Not only will the tour guarantee you a glimpse of the soul star and the usual entertainment provided by Julia Zemiro, Brian Nankervis and the RocKwiz Orkestra, but the forthcoming tour also has many more surprises to come in the ways of special guests. With some dates having already sold out, you’d best snag your tickets pronto.
