Cremorne’s symbolic Nylex Clock site is transforming into an art studio and gallery open to the public for ten days in April. The event sees 25 of the world’s best urban artists (Anthony Lister, Adnate, Ben Eine, Ben Frost, Julian Clavijo and Mysterious Al) creating new work during this time before their pieces are displayed at a public festival, Untold. The festival features activities for guests and an opportunity to see historic parts of Melbourne that’s regularly unavailable to the general public.
This project aims to not only create an interactive new space, but to also raise money for The Reach Foundation. The goal is to collect one million dollars for the charity which runs workshops that break barriers and grow understanding in teenagers and young people to get the best out of their lives.
