Pitch Music & Arts Festival, one of Australia's most beloved festivals for electronic music, is gearing up to return in 2025.

It’s an announcement many attendees have been waiting eagerly for, after the 2024 festival was cancelled partway through due to the bushfire risk in its Grampians location. Today, the festival has announced its new dates, set to take place from March 7 to 11, 2025. Eager attendees are encouraged to enter the ballot to secure their spot, with further details available through Pitch’s official channels.

The festival, known for its electrifying atmosphere and wide array of electronic music genres, has also confirmed that it will return to its scenic setting at the foothills of the Grampian Plains. “A rhapsody of creativity & connection at the foothills of the Grampian Plains, Pitch Music & Arts returns for its eighth iteration March 7 – 11, 2025,” the ballot site reads.

In 2024, the festival introduced several unique spaces that expanded the traditional festival experience:

  • Three Stages: The three main stages—Pitch One, Resident Advisor, and Pitch Black—served as the festival’s core, each hosting high-energy performances across various electronic music genres.
  • Greenhouse Space: This new area offered a relaxed daytime retreat that transformed into a vibrant experimental party at night, with DJ takeovers by Skylab Radio, Deep Water, and Navy Blue Radio.
  • Pitch Pavillion: Returning with expanded wellness offerings, the Pitch Pavillion provided yoga, reiki, tarot readings, massages, and ambient music for those looking to recharge.
  • Pitch Precinct: A hidden gem among the campsites, this space showcased a mix of eclectic music by local collectives such as On3 and The Operatives, and takeovers by Now Hear This, Inbraza, Closet, and Picked Last.
