Melbourne emcee Pez had a brief burst of success back in 2008 with The Festival Song, a bogan novelty tune celebrating summer days and all the worst in summer festival behaviour, which was (naturally) hugely popular on triple j. His return to the spotlight, some four years later, is one the back of a similarly breezy skip hop number; a roots-y, cruising track with more than a whiff of Fun Loving Criminals about it, which is at best dated and at worst a solid argument for why Australians should stop trying to make hip hop altogether.
